Day 0: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a guide will meet you and transport you to the hotel in Arusha for an overnight stay. The city, situated beneath Mount Meru, is in proximity to Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Lake Manyara National Park, Olduvai Gorge, Tarangire National Park, Mount Kilimanjaro, and Arusha National Park on Mount Meru.
Accommodation: Summit Lodge, Arusha.
Refreshment: Evening Dinner
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire national Park
Depart post-breakfast and proceed to Tarangire National Park for a comprehensive day of wildlife viewing, including a picnic lunch, while appreciating the splendor of Tarangire. In the evening, proceed to Karatu to the lodge for dinner and overnight accommodation. Tarangire National Park, situated just off the primary safari road in Northern Tanzania, is renowned for its elephant migration, avian diversity, and tranquil, real safari ambiance. Most travelers to the region either completely overlook Tarangire or spend only a few hours in the park, resulting in many areas remaining essentially unvisited.

Day 2: Karatu to Serengeti National Park:
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the Lodge before departing for a wildlife drive en route to Central Serengeti. A warm meal will be preserved for the afternoon. We will proceed to the Serengeti safari in the evening and check in to the accommodation for the overnight stay.
One million wildebeest, each propelled by an age-old instinct, participate in the inevitable cycle of life: a tumultuous three-week period of territorial battles and mating; the survival of the fittest as 40 km (25 mile) long columns traverse crocodile-infested waters during the annual northern migration; rejuvenating the species in a fleeting population surge that yields over 8,000 calves daily before the 1,000 km (600 mile) journey recommences.
Accommodation: Heritage Tented Lodge.
Dining: All-inclusive meal plan.

Day 3: Central Serengeti National Park to Northern Serengeti Safari
Partake in your breakfast at the camp before proceeding to the northern region of Serengeti, specifically North Kogatende. In the evening, relish the observation of the river crossing during the huge migration.
River crossings at Kogatende commence daily in August when the massive herd establishes itself in the region. In August, September, and October, game watching in this area is exceptional, with daily river crossings virtually assured. The herds exhibit no definitive movement, as they across the river repeatedly in pursuit of rainfall and the resulting fresh grasses. It is not unusual to observe various herds traversing in divergent routes on the same day.
Accommodation: Heritage Tented Lodge.
Dining: All-inclusive meal plan.

4-5: Full Days at Northern Serengeti Kogatende Area:
Two complete days will be allocated near the river for the pursuit of favorable river crossing opportunities. Commencement of breakfast at the camp, succeeded by a morning river game drive to observe the huge migration during its crossing, accompanied by a picnic lunch. Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and overnight accommodations.
The park is renowned for its robust population of resident species, especially the “big five,” which refers to the five most coveted prizes pursued by hunters: The Serengeti is thought to possess the largest lion population in Africa, partly due to the many prey species. Over 3,000 lions inhabit this ecosystem. African Leopard: these elusive predators are frequently observed in the Seronera region, however they inhabit the entire national park, with an estimated population of approximately 1,000.
Accommodation: Heritage Tented Lodge.
Dining: Comprehensive meal plan.
Day 6: Transfer from Northern Serengeti to Central Serengeti:
Experience a hot air balloon safari in the early morning (optional at an additional cost). Following breakfast, proceed on an en route wildlife drive from Northern Serengeti to Central Seronera. In the evening, proceed to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Accommodation: Heritage Tented Lodge.
Dining: Complete board.

Day 7: From Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater:
Following breakfast, you will proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend for a morning game drive on the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater. The itinerary includes an entire day of game driving accompanied by a picnic lunch. In the late afternoon, we will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
The centerpiece of Ngorongoro is a profound volcanic crater, the biggest intact and unflooded caldera globally. The Ngorongoro Crater measures around 20 kilometers in diameter, reaches a depth of 600 meters, and encompasses an area of 300 square kilometers, constituting a remarkable natural phenomenon. We will explore Lake Magadi, a substantial yet shallow alkaline lake located in the southwestern quadrant, which is a prominent characteristic of the crater. A substantial quantity of flamingos, hippopotamuses, and various aquatic avians are typically observable in this location.
Accommodation: Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge.
Dining: Complete meal plan.
Day 8: Cultural Activities at Mto WA Mbu (3 hours) – Arusha – Departure:
Morning Following breakfast, you will depart from the crater rim and drive to the local town of Mto Wa Mbu for a three-hour excursion to immerse yourself in the local customs, traversing the agricultural village of Mto Wa Mbu. Visit Maasai Boma to experience authentic Maasai traditions, local agriculture, educational institutions, a church, a milling facility, a local tavern, and to appreciate the sights and sounds of this lively hamlet. You will traverse the Rift Valley Wall and encounter tiny herds of wildlife. Following the trip, you will be transported to Arusha, where you will have the opportunity to shower and enjoy lunch at the hotel before being driven to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your return flight home.
