Lobo Wildlife Lodge

The Lobo Wildlife Lodge epitomizes the ideal wilderness retreat for many individuals. It is constructed on a rocky outcrop along a migratory pathway. The rock’s elevation provides an excellent vantage point for observing the game and migration. The movement can be observed even from the pool.

The lodge is an artistic structure composed of stone and lumber, harmonizing with its environment, and enhanced by the elevations, culminating in a full vision. It is the largest lodge along the migration route, and its elevated position allows for the migration to be observed from the comfort of a sun lounger. This resort is the inaugural stop on the wildebeest migration route, providing an opportunity to observe the animals commencing their journey. It is around 28 kilometers from the Masai Mara.

The lodge features 75 guest rooms with captivating views of the vast plains of Serengeti National Park. It is adorned with elements of African decor and global sophistication. The rooms are completely furnished and equipped with suite amenities. Twin rooms with two beds, double rooms with one king-size bed, and interconnecting rooms for families are also available.

Lobo is strategically located along the migratory path of over one million wildebeest in their critical quest for survival. It is the inaugural lodge en route from Kenya to Tanzania, situated at 28 km from the Maasai Mara. Serengeti National Park is located in Tanzania, stretching into the southern section of Kenya, encompassing the Serengeti and Mara ecosystem in the Simiyu region. The park is one of the renowned parks in Tanzania, encompassing 5,700 square miles, extending northward to Kenya and adjacent to Lake Victoria to the west. June to October represent the optimal timeframe for visiting Serengeti National Park, as it coincides with the dry season, providing superior animal observation opportunities when wildebeests migrate in search of grazing and water sources. It is the annual migration of wild animals.

The park is home to more than 70 large mammals, including buffaloes, elephants, crocodiles, zebras, lions, leopards, impalas, giraffes, and antelopes, among others, as well as 500 bird species such as flamingos, ostriches, grey-breasted spurfowl, Kori bustards, and secretary birds.
