Day 1 Arrive at Arusha International Airport
All Tanzania Safaris Safaris representative will collect you from the airport and transport you to your lodging in Arusha, where you will spend the night, unwind, and prepare for the forthcoming adventures. Arusha Planet Lodge is a sanctuary of tranquility and visual delight.
Day 2 Tarangire National Park
In the morning, our own safari guide will pick you from your accommodations in Arusha. We embarked on a journey to Tarangire National Park across gently undulating Masai plains adorned with dispersed acacia trees. As we travel swiftly, we encounter numerous Masai in their vibrant attire walking down the highway, cycling, herding livestock, and maneuvering donkey carts. Tarangire National Park, renowned for its substantial elephant populations, also accommodates a diverse array of other fauna. From the open roof of our safari car, we see the seasonal marshes, grassland, and the vital Tarangire River, striving to encounter a variety of fauna, including zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, and giraffe, among others. We may observe lions pursuing prey or leopards lounging in the branches above. Following our comprehensive wildlife drive, we proceed to one of our mid-range partner lodges for dinner at an elegant restaurant and a spacious room to accommodate our comfort and aspirations of wild cats.

Day 3 Ngorongoro Crater
Awaken and enlighten! We are departing early today for the verdant highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This morning’s destination is the renowned Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s seven wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon reaching the crater rim, we descend the steep path into the 600-meter deep caldera to observe various animals, grasslands, birds, and a lake. The extensive collapsed volcano hosts around 25,000 mammals, including the “Big Five,” spotted hyenas, and more than 500 avian species native to the region. Following a comprehensive game drive and a picnic lunch in the crater, we will proceed to your hotel in Karatu for supper and overnight accommodation.

Day 4 Lake Manyara to Stone Town
Following breakfast, you will proceed to your ultimate objective on your remarkable safari – Lake Manyara National Park. This is a little yet diversified park, located 120 kilometers west of Arusha. The park is named after a tiny salt lake. It encompasses a vast expanse of the park, experiencing seasonal inundation and desiccation, and serves as a habitat for thousands of flamingos and more than 500 additional avian species. During your journey of the park, you may observe monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, elephants, and, with some fortune, lions resting in the trees. The park is renowned for its varied landscapes, including expansive grassy plains, woodlands inhabited by primates, and cliffs adorned with baobabs. Post-lunch, you will return to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon to board your aircraft to Zanzibar.

Day 5 – 7 Zanzibar North Coast Explore & Relax
You will relocate to Nungwi. This extensive settlement near the northernmost extremity of Zanzibar Island was historically recognized as a center for dhow construction. Today, it is a prominent tourist destination, attributed in part to its exquisite beach and breathtaking sunsets. The outcome: a locale where tradition and modernity collide with intensity. Diving, snorkeling, fishing, and various aquatic sports are the primary attractions in this location. Popular dive sites from Nungwi are predominantly located along the east coast, Mnemba Island, and the reefs adjacent to Tumbatu Island. Nungwi’s local geography and tidal patterns facilitate swimming at any time for swimmers. Additional activities offered comprise yoga, cycling, and guided village visits.
