Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide who will escort you for your safari. A quick orientation will precede your journey to your hotel in Arusha, where you will check in, dine, and spend the night at Runako Lodge.

Day 2: Journey to Lake Manyara National Park

Following breakfast at your accommodation in Arusha, you will check out, and your guide will transport you to Lake Manyara National Park. You will participate in a game drive throughout the national park, renowned for its tree-climbing lions and diverse wildlife species.

While on your game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, you will observe several wildlife species, including elephants, hippos, gazelles, giraffes, buffalo, lions, and baboons, among others. The national park is renowned for its flamingos, observable along the shores of Lake Manyara, in addition to approximately 350 other avian species present inside the park. Following your game drive, your guide will transport you to Twiga Lodge for dinner and overnight accommodations.

Day 3: Journey to Tarangire National Park

Following your departure from the lodge where you spent the previous night, you will go on another safari experience in Tarangire National Park. As you traverse the national park, you will appreciate the sight of baobab trees, renowned for its substantial elephant populations.

While on your game drive at Tarangire National Park, you will encounter sights such as the Tarangire River, a crucial water supply for several animal species, including elephants, hippos, giraffes, buffalo, lions, gazelles, and waterbucks, all of which may be observed on a safari in the area. Your evening meal and accommodation will be at Tarangire Roika Lodge.

Day 4: Entire day at Tarangire National Park

Awaken for an early morning game drive in Tarangire National Park to relish another animal observation while your safari in Tanzania. You will participate in an additional game drive within the national park, seeking giraffes, elands, buffalo, elephants, hartebeests, gazelles, lions, and various other species.

Your evening meal and accommodation will be at Tarangire Roika Lodge.

Day 5: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater

You will have breakfast at your lodge before embarking on a drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which is inhabited by a variety of wildlife species, including the Big Five: elephants, lions, leopards, rhinoceroses, and buffaloes. You will descend around 600 meters into the crater while seeking the diverse wildlife species of the Ngorongoro Crater during your game drive.

The wildlife species observable during your game drive around Ngorongoro Crater encompass lions, buffaloes, wildebeests, hartebeests, Thomson’s gazelles, rhinoceroses, golden and black jackals, zebras, cheetahs, leopards, antelopes, elephants, hyenas, and warthogs. Following the game drive in the crater, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Eileen’s Tree Inn.

Day 6: Journey to Serengeti National Park

Following breakfast and the checkout from your accommodation, your guide will transport you to Serengeti National Park. You will register at your lodge for lunch.

You will also traverse the expansive savannah plains in pursuit of animal species including elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalo, wildebeests, zebras, impalas, giraffes, antelopes, hartebeests, kudu, dik-dik, hyenas, and cheetahs, among others. Your evening meal and overnight accommodation will be at Osinon camps and lodges.

Day 7: Comprehensive Serengeti Safari

You will rise early at your lodge for breakfast prior to your morning game drive in the middle region of Serengeti National Park. During your wildlife drive in the Seronera area, you will observe numerous predators, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs, followed by a lunch stop.

While on your safari in Serengeti National Park, you will partake in an additional game drive to traverse the expansive savannah plains in pursuit of animal species including elephants, hippos, giraffes, wildebeests, kudu, dik-dik, impalas, and zebras. Your evening meal and overnight accommodation will be at Osinon camps and lodges.

Day 8: Transfer to Arusha

On the eighth and final day of your safari, you will awaken, partake in breakfast at your lodge, and subsequently check out before to your journey to Arusha, where your guide will deposit you at the airport or your hotel, concluding the safari.
