Access to the lodge is available via road travel from Arusha town, requiring roughly 3 to 4 hours of driving from Arusha city, the primary entrance to many parks in Tanzania. Alternatively, a flight to the nearby Manyara airstrip takes about 50 minutes, followed by a brief ride to the camp. A Nomad’s Rest lodge features 10 expansive luxury tents that provide stunning vistas of the valley, Lake Manyara, and the surrounding scenery, constructed in traditional African style with a high degree of comfort. The tents are elevated on raised wooden platforms and equipped with private en suite amenities, including flushing toilets, hot and cold showers, mosquito netting, complimentary toiletries, bottled water, slippers, and wash basins. The tents feature expansive sitting spaces and verandas that offer breathtaking vistas of the Rift Valley, wildness, and other landscapes. The tents are furnished with clean, comfy king and queen-sized beds. Tents are available in various sizes, featuring single beds for individuals, double beds for sharing, and triple rooms.

The Ngorongoro Crater is located in the northern region of Tanzania, adjacent to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area within the Great Rift Valley, with a total area of 8,292 km² and is approximately 3 million years old. The crater is the premier location in East Africa, offering stunning and spectacular vistas. The park features various attractions, including the wildebeest migration from the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, the Salei Plains, and the Olkarien Gorge, as well as diverse flora and fauna and breathtaking landscape.

The park offers many levels of lodging, including budget, mid-range, and luxury options, which are both convenient and cheap for visitors to the area. The park features short grasses, elevated terrain, and other striking volcanoes. The area is home to about 25,000 large species, including 26 black rhinoceroses, more than 100 lions, 7,000 wildebeests, 4,000 zebras, 3,000 elands, and 3,000 Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles. The park features several animals, including the Big Five mammals: lion, buffalo, elephant, leopard, and rhinoceros, as well as zebras, impalas, antelopes, and numerous bird species.
