8 Days Budget Camping Safari Tanzania – Affordable Serengeti Adventure

This private safari accommodates a maximum of six individuals per vehicle. The safari will last 8 days and 7 nights, traversing the destinations outlined in the itinerary. The 8 days Budget Camping Safari Tanzania will commence and conclude in Arusha, featuring excursions to Lake Manyara, Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Serengeti National Park.

Comprehensive itinerary

Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

We will depart Arusha after breakfast at either 8:00 AM or 9:00 AM and proceed to our initial destination, Lake Manyara National Park. We will traverse the National Park during the day while monitoring the diverse fauna residing inside it. A packed lunch will be provided at one of the picnic locations, followed by an evening drive to the Alsamo Manyara campsite for overnight accommodations and dinner.

Day 2: Transition from Lake Manyara to Serengeti

Following breakfast at the camp, we proceed to Serengeti National Park, renowned for the yearly wildebeest migration. We traverse the Park, pausing for lunch before resuming the afternoon trip. An overnight stay will occur in the Seronera camp, where dinner will be provided by a chef.

Days 3 to 5: Serengeti National Park

Days 3 to 5 will be dedicated to exploring Serengeti National Park. During your visit to Serengeti, you will dine and overnight in the Seronera camp. Locate creatures such as zebras, antelopes, buffalo, and lions during your visit; also, possible activities include an early morning hot air balloon trip and birdwatching.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Following breakfast, we will embark on a morning drive across Serengeti National Park, particularly at Seronera, before proceeding to Ngorongoro Crater. The journey to Ngorongoro offers an opportunity to appreciate the Great Rift Valley, where you may capture photographs and enjoy lunch at that location. Post-lunch, we will proceed to Ngorongoro Crater, where we will initially descend into the crater to observe various wildlife, including zebras, elephants, hippos, and buffaloes. The evening will be dedicated to gathering around a campfire while dining before retiring for the night.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater

We will spend the entire day driving through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. A lunch will be prepared for an afternoon picnic, and you will also have the opportunity to visit the Olduvai Gorge, where archaeologists uncovered fossils attributed to the first people. An nighttime stay will occur at the campsite, where the cook will prepare a delectable meal with both local and international cuisine.

Day 8: Ngorongoro to Arusha

Following breakfast, we will embark on a morning drive across the Ngorongoro Crater before returning to Arusha, concluding our eight-day camping safari in Tanzania.
