Comprehensive itinerary for a 4-Day Serengeti Wildlife Safari

Day 1: Arrival – Serengeti National Park Safari Drive

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be cordially greeted by our guide and subsequently transferred to Serengeti National Park following a brief orientation.

The travel lasts roughly 6 hours, arriving in time for lunch at your resort post check-in. In the afternoon, you will partake in a wildlife drive, enjoying the vastness of the Serengeti and its breathtaking landscapes. Accompanied by your driver-guide, you will observe a variety of creatures inhabiting these broad savannah grasslands. Proceed to your lodge for dinner and an overnight accommodation.

Days 2 and 3: Comprehensive Game Drives in Serengeti National Park

Utilize these two days to explore Serengeti National Park, the most renowned and sought-after safari destination in Tanzania and globally.

During the morning game drive, you will seek early risers and predators, like lions, cheetahs, and African wild dogs, as they return from their hunting excursions. Additional animals to observe include elephants, buffaloes, impalas, serval cats, gazelles, waterbucks, elands, hippos, rhinoceroses, zebras, and kudus, among others.

Partake in a picnic lunch in the park, followed by a game drive until dark, then return to your lodge for supper and overnight accommodations.

Optional Activity: Hot Air Ballooning

Imagine gliding above the Serengeti Plains, effortlessly traversing treetops in complete stillness while observing the wildlife below. Hot air balloon flights commence everyday at 06:00 from designated launch sites within Serengeti National Park. Serengeti Balloon Safaris provides overhead perspectives of the vast Serengeti Plains and a close-up view of wildlife, including lions, leopards, and buffaloes, among others.  This extraordinary adventure concludes with a champagne breakfast served in the wilderness.

Day 4: Departure

You will have an early breakfast at your lodge prior to checking out, after which you will drive back to Arusha, where your guide will escort you to the airport for your departure journey home.
