Nyerere National Park Entry Fees , entrance fees to Nyerere National Park are determined by the residency status of the visiting tourist. There are three tiers of park fees. Citizens, residents, and non-residents of East Africa. East Africa Citizens denote Tanzanian citizens with valid National IDs or passports, as well as citizens of Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and South Sudan holding valid passports. Residents denote individuals of any nationality living in Tanzania with appropriate documents from the Tanzanian government, whereas the term “Non Residents” or “Foreign Tourists” pertains to foreign visitors who do not reside in Tanzania.
The entry fees for Nyerere National Park are USD 50 per adult and USD 30 per child under 15 years, applicable for both non-residents and residents, per 24-hour period.
In addition to the Park Fees, there are additional Concession Fees applicable to anybody residing within the park at any resort, camp, or hotel.

Prominent lodges and camps situated inside Nyerere National Park, best accessed via Mteremi and Matembwe Gates, encompass Serena Mivumo River Lodge, Selous Serena Camp, Mbuyu Safari Camp, Beho Beho Camp, Stiegler’s Gorge Camp, Rufiji River Camp, and Sand Rivers. The fee of USD 50 per adult per 24 hours is applicable. **East Africa citizen tariffs apply to residents of Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, South Sudan, and Burundi. Visitors must provide their National ID (for Tanzanian nationals) or Passport with Work permits or valid Visas to verify residence status upon entry into the park. Individuals lacking a valid passport must remit the non-resident fees. Child rates apply to individuals aged 5 to 15 years. Individuals under the age of five are admitted at no charge. Student pricing apply exclusively to individuals aged 23 years or younger, who are sponsored by an accredited educational institution, possess a valid student ID, and are visiting the park as part of a pre-arranged school-organized excursion. Students are required to secure authorization for these special rates a minimum of two weeks prior to their visit.
