Detailed itinerary of  8  days Private Tanzania Wildlife Safaris

Day 1: Airport transfer

We will get you from the airport and transport you to Tulia Spa & Boutique. A city sightseeing tour is included in the itinerary on the first day. The city tour will include visits to local marketplaces, a Maasai market, cultural heritage sites, and the Arusha City Museum.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

At 7:30 am, we will collect you from your accommodation, where the guide and chef for the 8 Days Tanzania Wildlife Safaris Tour will be awaiting your arrival. We will embark on a two-hour journey to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its varied topography. The park is renowned for its plethora of ancient baobab trees and for hosting the biggest concentration of elephants in the nation. It offers distinctive opportunities to witness the dynamics among elephant families. We will do a game drive in the park, contingent upon recorded animal sightings, mostly focusing on predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, which are more elusive. The herbivores, including as giraffes, wildebeests, and zebras, are abundant and easily observable in the park.

Subsequently, we will proceed to the Tarangire River picnic area to relish the picturesque scenery of the river and wildlife while partaking in lunch. Minor primates and baboons may attempt to intimidate you away from your meal; however, there is no cause for concern. Subsequent to lunch, we shall commence the game drive and depart the park at approximately 4:30 PM.

  • Accommodation: Mbalageti Serengeti, a mid-range lodge situated within the Western Serengeti.

Day 3: Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

Subsequent to breakfast, you will proceed to travel from Mto WA Mbu to the Serengeti. The journey lasts 6 hours, inclusive of all stops, as it traverses the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where we will pause for 20 minutes. An extra excursion to a Maasai community is available, allowing you an exploration of the culture of the esteemed Maasai tribe. They are recognized for displacing lions from their prey and for hunting lions themselves. To be deemed a warrior, they were required to consume animal blood; however, this custom is now obsolete. This optional visit will last between 20 and 45 minutes.

We arrive at Serengeti National Park in the late afternoon. Subsequent to lunch, we go on a wildlife drive in the Seronera region (Central Serengeti), followed by a westward journey. We arrive at our lodging to witness the Serengeti sunset.

Day 4: Seronera, Serengeti National Park

Following breakfast, we will embark on 8 days Private Tanzania Wildlife Safaris , with a full-day game drive on your third day in the Serengeti. Today, we will investigate more distant regions, nevertheless with elevated prospects of observing wildlife. In the afternoon, we will return to your lodging at Serengeti Heritage Tented Lodge.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

Following an early breakfast, we will embark on a morning game drive to observe abundant wildlife. In the afternoon, we will proceed to the camp for lunch. Upon completion of packing, we embark on an 8-day wildlife safari tour featuring a game drive as we depart from the Serengeti. We proceed to the Ngoro Ngoro Rhino Lodge/Ngoro Ngoro Wildlife Lodge, located on the lip of the Ngorongoro Crater, a two-hour drive away.

Primary Destination: Ngorongoro Crater

  • Accommodation: Ngoro Ngoro Serena Safari Lodge, a luxury lodge situated on the lip of the Ngoro Ngoro Crater.
  • Meals and Beverages: All meals are included, along with drinking water, beer, and wine (other beverages are not provided).

Day 6: The Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Arusha Region. Following an early breakfast, we will commence our descent into the crater at 6:15 am as part of an 8-day Tanzania Wildlife Safaris Tour to locate the black rhino. Rhinos are the most challenging to observe in the picturesque crater, while the majority of animals are more easily visible due to the crater’s bottom. Following lunch, we will embark on a game drive and ascend the crater, subsequently preparing for our return journey to Arusha.

Provided you do not have a late flight, we will transport you to the airport the following day.

Day 7: Kilimanjaro Expedition

Experience Tanzania’s natural beauty on an 8-day wildlife safari tour, featuring full-day excursions to Materuni and Kikuletwa, perfect for adventurous, cultural, and active tourists in the area. Commence a hike to Materuni Waterfalls and relish a rejuvenating swim. Subsequently, proceed to a nearby farm to gain insights into Tanzania’s coffee industry, followed by relaxation at the Kikuletwa Hot Springs. The client returned to the resort in the evening.
