Day 2: Full Day Safari in Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Commence your day with breakfast at the lodge or camp in Masai Mara, followed by a morning game drive in the renowned Masai Mara Game Reserve, the most illustrious wildlife reserve in Africa. The Masai Mara Game Reserve is renowned for its diverse wildlife, including lions, buffalo, zebras, giraffes, leopards, and many antelope species such as gazelles, impalas, topis, elands, and hartebeests. Traveling between July and October, during the Great Migration season, may afford you the opportunity to see the river crossing of over 1.5 million wildebeests, joined by hundreds of thousands of zebras and gazelles, in what is recognized as the largest animal spectacle globally. You will pause for lunch and rest, then venture out again in the afternoon till late afternoon, when you will return to the lodge/camp for wildlife drives, followed by a campfire and overnight stay. In addition to conventional game drives in safari land cruisers, one may also partake in a walking safari in the Masai Mara or visit local Maasai villages to gain insights into their culture and traditions. Day 3: Transfer to Serengeti National Park
This morning, you will rise early for breakfast, subsequently bidding farewell to the camp/lodge staff before departing by road towards the Isebania/Sirare Border, where you will briefly halt for visa processing to enter Tanzania. At the Tanzanian border (Sirare), you will transfer to a Tanzanian-registered safari jeep accompanied by a safari guide, in compliance with the new regulations. You will traverse the Nyamongo mining settlements and Mugumu municipality en route to Serengeti National Park, entering at either Ikoma Gate or Fort Ikoma Ranger Post, contingent upon your camp’s location within the Serengeti. You will commence your inaugural game drive in the Serengeti immediately, seeking the diverse fauna and avifauna that the region presents. In the late afternoon, you will register at a lodge or camp for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Today, you may opt for an early morning sunset game drive if desired. Experience an entire day in Serengeti National Park. Following breakfast, you will embark on a full day of wildlife drives in the Serengeti. Serengeti National Park is the primary habitat for the wildebeest migration herds prior to their crossing into Masai Mara for many months from August to October. An expert guide will communicate with other guides over VHF high-frequency radio, enabling him to identify optimal positions for observing the wildebeest migration. In addition to the migration, the Serengeti hosts a variety of fauna, including elephants, leopards, zebras, giraffes, serval cats, jackals, hyenas, and warthogs, among others. The Serengeti is also home to over 500 recorded bird species. During these two days, you will relish enchanting experiences while traversing the vast expanses of the Serengeti on wildlife drives. The Camp will provide dinner and accommodation.

Day 6: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast at your lodge or camp, you will check out and embark on your final game drives while en route to the Naabi Hills Gate, where you will make a quick stop for registration to enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCAA). You will subsequently proceed to the Crater rim to check into a lodge for rest. You will either spend the remainder of the day unwinding at your lodge or opt for a nature walk along the rim of Ngorongoro Crater.

On this day, you will have an early breakfast (or a packed breakfast) before descending to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater, where you will spend the day engaging in wildlife drives. Descending to the Ngorongoro Crater floor early enhances your likelihood of observing animals such as Black Rhinos, as they tend to avoid morning dew and prefer to congregate along the roadways. We will descend with a picnic lunch to be served in the crater adjacent to the hippo pool, where you may stretch your legs and access the restrooms. The Ngorongoro Crater is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site and is included in an international biosphere reserve. The crater is the biggest intact caldera globally, extending approximately 300 square kilometers and spanning around 21 kilometers in diameter. The Crater is a natural zoo, including 600-meter-high walls that guarantee minimal animal escape from this renowned wildlife region. This location features black rhinos, lions, buffalo, elephants, cheetahs, and several types of antelope. You will proceed with game drives on the Crater floor until the afternoon, after which you will ascend to the Crater rim to check in at a lodge for supper and overnight accommodation.
